It has arrived!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My copy of Sherry new book just arrived today in the mail and I can't wait to start tatting some spring things!!! I also received this HDT because I was one of the first 5 to order her book and this was the bonus. YAY!!

I was also one of the lucky ones to have test tatted for Sherry's new book and "Curly Q" was what I tatted for her. And for doing this I received this HDT called "Tutti Frutti" size 80.

Also this week I tatted this doily called "Loop-di-Loop" by Hartmut Hass. It is tatted in DMC size 30 and was a little bit of a challenge for me but it was not going to bet me. I like this doily now. Now that it is done.

  1. Woooo! Isn't it fantastic? I love Curly Q. That's next on my list. What is the deal with Canuckian mail? I can order something from the UK and it gets here faster than it does from just across the lake there.

Love the doily. Excellent job. I've seen the pattern before, but have never noticed the interesting negative space until now.

  4. Very pretty! I own several of Harmut Hass's crochet patterns, but this is the first tatted pattern I've seen. I'll have to check it out!

  5. I have to admit that this doily defeated me. Its on my list of worst tatting disasters ever! I still have nightmares and a 1/2 finished doily. Congratulations, you did a lovely job! I am envious of your patience.

  6. Hi there! That is a very cool doily! This is the very first time I have heard of Hartman Hass! Now I have just googled "Loop-di-Loop by Hartmut Hass" and found it available at "Freepatterns.com"; is that where you got the pattern? I'm just curious. Well, I've joined the place and now I'm waiting for my confirmation email so I can download this pattern, LOL! Has anyone else joined this site, I wonder? I hope I haven't gotten myself into some kind of trouble with a bunch of spyware and stuff that tends to slow down and eventually ruin a computer.
    Enjoy your new tatting toys!
